Race Reports by Vaughn Marshall

I made an attempt at the Bastion Square Crit, today. But, it wasn't one for the record books! Just as the race started, it started raining hard. I'm not very confident in the rain for that race course, because there are so many man hole covers and differant types of road surfaces! Right on Crash Corner (corner of Yates & Wharf), there are manhole covers that are right on the line you need to take the corner.

I only lasted 5 laps, then I got pulled off by the Commissare. I usually last longer than that in previous races, but, I'm just not confident in the rain. So, I'm a little discouraged, but, I made an attempt anyway. And, I represented our club!

As this is the end of the year, I would like to give a BIG WELCOME to all the sponsors for making another year of racing, possible!
