Background

At Schwalbe Cycling Club’s 2010 Annual General Meeting a motion was passed by the membership whereby Club members would be issued Cycles West gift cards. This will be in recognition for volunteering at Club hosted races or in recognition for their contribution to Club positions.

Qualifications

• A maximum of 45 gift cards will be issued in the 2010 racing season. Each card will have a value of $35.00.
• One gift card will be issued to each member per event at which they have volunteered/marshalled.
• Volunteers will be contacted in alphabetical order on a “Roll Down System” until the number of volunteers/marshals required to host the event is met.
  1. It is hoped that every member will contribute to the Club through volunteering/marshalling. However, if you wish to have your name removed from the volunteer/marshall list please advise the Club President, before the racing season begins.
  2. If you decline to volunteer/marshall when your name is selected please understand that your ability to earn gift cards or qualify to receive financial support from the Club will be reduced or invalidated.
• Balances on gift cards are not given. i.e. the value of a gift card must be spent in its entirety at the time of purchase at Cycles West.

  Vice-president – 2
  Treasurer – 2
  Secretary – 2
  Schwalbe Tire Rep. – 2
  Road Race Director – 2
  Web Site Administrator – 2
  Membership Secretary/Louis Garneau Liaison – 2
