Schwalbe Cycling Club has historically supported the racing membership through a program of assisting racers with the cost of their entry fees. For instance, in 2009 the Club provided $1500.00 in financial support, and has a budget of $1200.00 for the 2010 racing season. The revenue to cover this program is made available to the Club, to a large degree, from hosting races in the Victoria Cycling League and enhanced with contributions from Club Sponsors.

The basic criteria for racer qualification and administration of this program is as follows:

• A maximum of $100.00 per racer per season.
• Racers to submit entry fee reimbursement request within 1 month of race (provide a brief race summary and photos if available, to web administrator).
• To qualify for reimbursement racers have to volunteer (or provide a volunteer) for at least 2 events hosted by the Club in the race season.

Note: If the racer has not completed the minimum volunteer obligations by the time reimbursement is to be made, the Club will withhold the reimbursement until the volunteering is done. No exceptions.
